Civil War Missouri Volunteers 1864 Documents for Auction

On May 21st, 2016 Bremo Auctions will conduct a live online auction of Civil War documents.  The documents include a handwritten, seven page report to the Missouri Union Adjutant General John B. Gray concerning the movements, actions and battles of the 11th Missouri Volunteer Infantry Regiment for the year 1864 (transcription available upon request); a shorter report dated Jan.16th 1864 concerning difficulties in recruiting, from George Miller, Capt. Company G, 15th Regiment Missouri Infantry (written by Private Edwin H. Steger); and a Missouri Oath of Loyalty for Commissioned Officers for 1st Lieutenant Lindley M. Stanton, Company H. Grundy County Regiment of the Missouri Militia, August 1865.
