TRAVELING CIVIL WAR EXHIBIT TO VISIT MU LAW LIBRARY
Mizzou will be hosting a traveling exhibit throughout the month of October, presented by the American Library Association. The exhibit is titled “Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War.”
The ALA describes the exhibit as a “fresh and innovative perspective on Abraham Lincoln that focuses on his struggle to meet the political and constitutional challenges of the Civil War.” The exhibit will be presented in a variety of medias, including panels, artifacts, and presentations. Special events included during the month-long exhibit include a screening of the 2013 Academy Award winning film “Lincoln” on October 9th and a special presentation on the role of African-Americans in the Civil War on October 16th.
