    Re-enactor camp tours, Burning tales of Order #11, Country School re-enactment, Riverfront concert by Marshall Band, followed by fireworks over the river, Street skirmishes and surprises. Special ole time Sunday Morning Church Service. Lots of home-made food and vendors of all types, plus much,, much , more.

    Experience what camp life was like during the Civil War. Over sixty reenactors will be present performing drills and answering questions. A reenactment of the bank robbery from Merchant’s Bank and a ladies fashion show will be included. Event sponsored by Lt. Col. J. Felix St. James Camp #326 and Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Union reenactors: 1st Missouri Hospital Brigade, 5th Missouri Calvary, 17th Missouri Infantry and Cape Girardeau Artillery. Confederate reenactors: 2nd Missouri Light Artillery and 9th Missouri Sharpshooters Battalion.

    The dedication ceremony is at the Pacific Station Plaza, First and Orleans Streets. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with a BBQ fundraiser. The dedication ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. Proceeds from the BBQ will go toward the purchase of a replica Civil War cannon to be placed in Pacific’s Blackburn Park. Zach Myers, a local 14-year-old, is coordinating the cannon fundraising effort as his Eagle Scout project.
